We are happy fill any large orders, but please pre-order so we can make sure we have enough available for both you and other customers. You do not have to pre-order to get larger quantities; it is just more helpful to our staff to get larger orders ready ahead of time. We don’t always have large quantities of some items at the Apple Barn, so advance notice will ensure that we have it there for your convenience

Fresh Cider - Our Fall Specialty is our fresh pressed cider. The secret Nye Family recipe is a special blend of our own apples that will make you want to come back again and again for more. Our cider is treated with a Ultraviolet light process done just before bottling. The UV process kills any potentially harmful bacteria. This process preserves the texture and wonderful taste of Nye’s Apple Cider. The UV process is FDA approved.

We sell pure Honeycrisp cider as well as caramel apple cider. Please call ahead to insure that we have these in stock as they sell quickly.

Apple Cider is available in Gallons and Half Gallons.

Here are some other things you can do with Nye’s Apple Cider:
  • You can enjoy fresh apple cider from your freezer all winter long if you follow some simple rules. Pour off about 1 cup of cider from each gallon jug to allow for expansion in freezing. It is better to freeze cider in plastic jugs. To thaw, leave at room temperature or in the refrigerator until completely thawed. Do not pour out liquid while there is still unmelted ice. Shake well.
  • Use cider instead of water to make apple sauce. The cider improves the flavor and needs little if any sugar.
  • Use apple juice or cider as an easy glaze for turkey, ham or chicken.
  • For the delicate approach to fish, poach filets in apple juice or cider.
  • Fill paper cups with apple cider. Insert a wooden stick and freeze. You've got a cidersicle!
